Jenny & David
Elgar Room, Malvern Registry Office

Some wedding days prove that you don't need hundreds of guests to create something truly special.
Jenny and David chose to celebrate their marriage with an intimate spring wedding at Malvern Registry Office, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them: their parents and four wonderful daughters. It was a day filled with genuine smiles, quiet emotion and the kind of moments that remind you what weddings are really about.
One little moment that made me smile was unexpectedly becoming the ceremony's "DJ"! Originally, David had been asked to play the music himself, but I happily stepped in so he could be fully present with his family and enjoy every moment from the very beginning. It's little moments like these that remind me my role is about more than taking photographs, it’s about helping the day feel as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.
One of the things I love most about Malvern Registry Office is that you don't have to travel far to create beautiful photographs. Surrounded by a peaceful park and a picturesque lake, it's the perfect setting to slow down after the ceremony and spend a little more time with the people you love most.
After celebrating with confetti outside the registry office, we wandered down to the lake together. A family of ducklings paddled across the water as we stopped on the large wooden bridge for family photographs before moving to a nearby stone wall for a few relaxed portraits of Jenny and David, along with some lovely moments with their daughters.
As a documentary wedding photographer, these are the moments I love capturing most: the real smiles, the quiet glances and the memories that unfold naturally, without needing to be staged.
Nothing felt rushed or overly posed. We simply made the most of the beautiful surroundings, allowing the day to unfold naturally while creating photographs that truly reflected this special chapter in Jenny and David's story.
It was such a pleasure to capture Jenny and David's beautiful day and witness such a heartfelt celebration surrounded by the people they love most. I wish them and their family a lifetime of happiness as they begin this exciting new chapter together.
If you're planning your wedding at Malvern Registry Office or elsewhere in Worcestershire, I'd love to hear all about your plans. My approach is relaxed, documentary and centred around capturing genuine moments as they naturally unfold, allowing you to enjoy every moment while I tell the story of your day.
